On 7 May at 16:00, the History Museum of Armenia will host a lecture on “Yerevan 1954: Anastas Mikoyan, the Thaw, and De-Stalinisation in Soviet Armenia” delivered by Pietro Shakarian, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of History, National Research University–Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg.

The speaker will examine the activities of Anastas Mikoyan and his role in laying the groundwork for de-Stalinisation and democratisation of Soviet society.
