( 05.02.1992 – 15.10.2020 )

Arman Gegham Mesropyan (February 5, 1992, Arevshat, Ararat region – October 15, 2020, Jabrail).

In 1997, he relocated to his permanent residence in Artsakh, settling in the village of Ghazarapat in the Kashatagh region. Arman completed his education with honors in 2008. In 2010, he fulfilled his duty to the motherland by entering military service. In 2012, despite his intention to pursue higher education at Artsakh State University, an unfortunate accident led to the interruption of his studies. He embarked on a two-year contract service with the NSS. In April 2016, he volunteered for service in Talish during the four-day war. His dedication led him back to the NSS in 2017, where he received recognition for excellent service in 2019. In 2018, Arman embraced a new chapter in his life by getting married, and the following year, in 2019, he welcomed his first child, Gegham. He promptly returned to Artsakh when the ill-fated war erupted on September 27. On October 15, amid the fierce battles of Jabrayil, Arman sacrificed his life while heroically carrying a wounded friend on his shoulders, succumbing to anti-aircraft fire. Little did he know that seven months later, he would become a father again.
