On February 17, at 15:00, the History Museum of Armenia will host a lecture on the topic “Armenian culture outside of Armenia”, which will be conducted by Lusine Ghushchyan, Ph.D. candidate of Cultural Studies, a leading researcher of the Caucasus, Central Asia and Kazakhstan Department of the Russian Museum of Ethnographic in St. Petersburg.

The presentation of traditional Armenian culture outside the borders of Armenia, in the museum field, is a rather rare phenomenon. Since 2011, a series of temporary exhibitions have been organized in the Russian Museum of Ethnography, where various materials of traditional Armenian culture are presented.

In addition, there is a permanent exhibition with the “Armenians” section.

As part of the discussion, Lusine Ghushchyan, the author/curator of expositions and exhibitions, offers to discuss the different ways and methods of presenting Armenian culture.
