Ashot Torgom Khachaturyan. Senior machine-gunner (January 12, 2001, vil. Aygeshat, region Armavir, – September 29, 2020, Mataghis). In parallel with the secondary school, he attended groups of chess, swimming, wrestling, and youth theatre performing. After graduating the Aygeshat secondary school, he enrolled in the journalistic faculty of Yerevan State University (YSU). He used to say. “One good journalist is equal one good judge”: He was enlisted in 2019. He served in Mughni training military unit, then – in Mataghis military unit, in anti-aircraft protection (AAP) platoon of regiment. He dreamed to see Ararat mountain from opposite side…. He said his grandmother. “I will become such a man, that we shall have from sea-to-sea Armenia again”. He wanted her mother to be proud of himself, and his desire was fulfilled. He was killed on September 29, in hard battles, from drone attack.
