The center of the body is surrounded by a series of large leafy ornaments enclosed in medallions. The neck and lower part of the body are surrounded by bands with Arabic inscriptions. It is imported; the decoration and the method of manufacture suggest that it is a classic example of Iranian artistic glazed pottery.
