Hayk Aram Arshakyan

Hayk Aram Arshakyan. Junior sergeant, artilleryman (July 4, 2001, Hrazdan – October 17, 2020, Hadrut).

He was the joy of kindergarten and the indispensable participant in all events. He studied in school being the most serious student, and received only “excellent” grades.  He never took advantage of the opportunity for her mother, who was one of the school’s favorite and respected teachers. It maked elegance Hayk to be more responsible. He graduated the school with excellent progress and exemplary behavior and was a candidate for the gold medal. September 2019 he enrolled in the faculty of management of the Armenian State University of Economics. During the university study, he became a member of the “Joyful and Inventive” club, participated in football and basketball competitions. In January 2020 he enlisted the army. He served in Lusakert military unit. During the war he was in Hadrut. Each time, when he called his family, he spoke with very peaceful tone, as if he was at the resort place, but not on war. On October 10 was the last call. On October 17 his family was informed about his death. Some days later he received the mdeal “For Mortal service” postmortal, which was awarded by the President of Artsakh. He was awarded the medal “For bravery” postmortem. How many dreams left unfulfilled… “The island of my dreams is my mother’s heard”, – wrote he in 9-th class in a letter, dedicated to his mother. He called his mother “Sose Mam”.
