On October 24, at 16:00, a lecture entitled “Leather Restoration and Conservation” (with simultaneous translation) will be held at the History Museum of Armenia. The lecture will be led by Dr. Christian-Heinrich Wunderlich and Heiko Breuer, restorers from the Saxony-Anhalt Regional Museum and the Restoration Laboratory.
The speakers will discuss methods for preserving archaeological leather, restoration techniques, and will also address the preservation of the shoe discovered in Areni Cave 1.
