The ethnographic collection includes examples from the 17th-20th century decorative-applied art, lifestyle and production means from all the historic-ethnographic regions in Armenia.

FUND No.1 preserves samples of embroidery and lacework, covers embroidered in gold thread and silver thread, altar cloths (Ayntap, Marash, Urfa, Artsakh, Van, etc.), national costume sets, church vestments  and Christian worship and ritual utensils (Bardzer Hayk, Vaspurakan, Aghdznik, Minor Hayk, Cilicia, Syunik-Artsakh, Goghtn, Ararat valley, Parskahayk, Yerevan, etc.), specimens of Armenian jewellery and applied arts, musical instruments (Van, Karin, Sebastia, Constantinople, Bayazet, Syunik-Artsakh, etc.).

FUND No.2 preserves engraved and chased samples of Armenian copperwork: copper trays, bowls, basins, cups, dishes, church utensils (Tokat, Goghtn, Shushi, Karin, Vaspurakan, Djugha, Bayazet, Alashkert, Shirak, etc.).

FUND No.3 preserves examples of wood-carving, faïence objects and tools (Lori, Gegharkunik, Sebastia, Karin, Idjevan, Kutina, New Djugha, etc.).

FUND No.4 preserves rugs, carpets, bedclothes-bags, khurdjin-bags, salt-bags, saddle-covers and other objects of practical use, among them carpets with dragon-carpet stylization and geometric, vegetal, mixed ornamentation (Ayrarat, Bardzer Hayk, Vaspurakan, Syunik-Artsakh, Gandzak, etc.).

FUND No.5 preserves flint guns and pistols, daggers, swords, as well as weapons belonging to famous people.

FUND No.6 preserves ethnographic photographs, folk source materials and maps, as well as personal archives of ethnographers and scholars.
