The Constitution of the Republic of Armenia was adopted on July 5, 1995. It became the legal foundation of the independent and sovereign Republic of Armenia. Through the Constitution, the principles of state governance, human rights, and democratic values were strengthened.
The History Museum of Armenia is organizing an international conference titled “Constitution, Statehood, and Museums” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia. This event provides a great opportunity to study the historical and cultural heritage preserved in museums in a new light, and based on different collections, to discuss various historical and contemporary issues and possible solutions.
The conference will take place on July 3-4 at the History Museum of Armenia.
The presented reports should correspond to the scientific research directions of the History Museum of Armenia and include:
- History of the Constitution and Constitutional Thought
- Study of Archaeological Collections in Museums
- Study of Ethnographic Collections in Museums
- Study of Museum Collections Related to Modern and Contemporary History
