Almost a century after the Armenian Genocide, the History Museum of Armenia presents the stories of many Armenian refugees who survived the Genocide. From 26 April, the History Museum of Armenia invites everyone to visit a temporary exhibition entitled “Camp Oddo, Marseille: A Story of Genocide Survivors”, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the French Association for Research and Archiving of Armenian Memory (“ARAM”). The documentary materials transferred to the Museum by the Association depict the everyday life of Armenian refugees who survived the Genocide in the Camp Oddo shelter in Marseille, France, and reflect their life in the camp. The “Nansen Passport”, which the “ARAM” Association donated to the History Museum of Armenia a few days ago, plays a key role among the exhibits. The borrowed materials – passports, photographs, documents, books, etc. – will be placed in the exhibition together with the exhibits kept in the History Museum of Armenia.
