On the initiative of the History Museum of Armenia and the Heinrich Boell Foundation Yerevan office – South Caucasus region, the History Museum hosted the presentation of the book “Non-Denunciator Women: Accused under Article 69 (archival materials and oral stories)” by Tigran Sargsyan and the opening of a temporary exhibition of archival materials.
Davit Poghosyan, Director of the History Museum of Armenia, made an opening speech, Eviya Hovhannisyan, Armenian project coordinator, Heinrich Boell Foundation Yerevan office – South Caucasus Region, Tigran Sargsyan, author of the book, researcher of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography NAS RA, Gayane Shagoyan, scientific editor of the book, and reviewers Gohar Stepanyan and Harutyun Marutyan gave a speech.
As part of the temporary exhibition with the same title, original photos, diaries, work notes, etc. from the archives of Yevgenya Gyuzalyan, senior researcher of the Ethnography Department of the History Museum of Armenia, were presented. Yevgenya Gyuzalyan was one of the women who became a victim of repression.
