Lavrik Volodyay Naghdalyan, volunteer (January 24, 1963 – October 10, 2020, Hadrut).
In November 1992, he volunteered for the Artsakh Defense Regiment, led by Commander Mikael Apresyan. He played an active role in combat operations in the villages of Movses and Paravakar, as well as in military operations across the Martakert region of Artsakh. He continued his dedication to the cause, participating in the Four-Day War. The Minister of Defense expressed gratitude, stating, “At the moment of danger, we are sure you will join us again.” True to these words, Lavrik volunteered for the 2nd Artsakh War and was immortalized in the battles of the Hadrut region. His grandchildren, holding onto the hope of their grandfather’s return, remark, “Grandpa’s war didn’t end yet.”His honorable service has earned him the respect and honors he deserves.
