Hakob Artur Kartashyan (November 24, 1999, Aragatsavan – Talin region, October 21, 2020, Yeghnikner, Martakert)
Leaving his studies midway, Hakob went to Germany, and after five years, he returned. During this time, they consistently dreamed of returning to their native village, serving, and repaying the debt to the motherland. Hakob enlisted on January 29, 2020, and served in Yeghnikner. He remained fearless until his last breath, succumbing to fatal injuries on October 21, even enduring shots with contusion. His dreams of living, creating, having a family with four children, and enjoying a good life were tragically cut short. He was posthumously awarded the “Medal of Courage.”
