Mekhak Arest Sadoyan. Vicecommander of battalion, commander of tank brigade (January 18, 2000, vil. Zolaqar, Gegharqunik region – September 30, 2020, Mekhakavan (Jabrayil)).
In 2007 he attended Zolaqar secondary school #2 after Alvard Vardanyan. By his nature, he was an active, full of life, neat, hardworking and friendly guy, who knew the value of his word. He dreamed from the school years: “I will be policeman, in order to protect the truth”. He was engaged in boxing and had numerous medals certificates of honour. After graduating the school, he enrolled in the department of accountance and audit of Martuni European University. But alas…In July 2019 Mekhak enlisted army. He always stood near the weack and helpless people, he used to say: “I’m near those, who respect the truth”. He served 6 months in military unit after Marshall Baghramyan in Armavir town, then, continued his service in Khndzoresk military unit near Goris, as a junior sergeant. On September 27 Mekhak moved to Mekhakavan (Jabrayil) and heroically died there on September 30, during the military operation.
