Narek Volodya Harutyunyan, company (military unit) captain (April 10, 2001, Armavir region, Parakar village – 2020, Martakert)
After graduating from Tairov secondary school, he continued his success in gymnastics and judo, earning the title of champion in Moscow and Mitishi. He pursued higher education and specialized as a commercial manager in Moscow, harboring dreams of becoming a businessman and building a house. His determination and ambition were evident in his social media posts, where he wrote, “Remember my name, write it in capital letters.” Before enlisting, he posted a poignant message, “From now on, I will not be close to you.” He lost his life on September 27, 2020, during shelling in Martakert. In recognition of his service and sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded the “Combat Service” medal.
