He graduated from school and then went on to study at the YSU Faculty of International Relations, majoring in History. Arman was known for being intelligent, honest, kind, and friendly. Upon graduation from university, he was drafted into service in Artsakh. Arman was passionate about nature and it was his element. In 2018, he returned to his homeland from Kazakhstan. In August 2020, Arman’s first son, Sargis Ghukasyan, was conscripted into the Armenian army. A month later, the outbreak of war prompted Arman to volunteer. Father and son found themselves fighting on the front lines, separated by a mere 1 km, yet unable to see each other. Arman bravely stood amid intense battles, ultimately meeting a heroic end in the area known as Nuzzyar/Jrakan/. His son, Sargis Ghukasyan, has been considered missing since October 10, 2020. Arman Ghukasyan was posthumously honored with the “Combat Cross” second degree. He was married with 3 children.

His dream was to witness his motherland, Artsakh, free and independent.
