On January 19 at 16:00 the History Museum of Armenia will host a lecture on “Coins of the Republic of Armenia in 1993-2023”, which will be conducted by Nune Teryan, Coordinator of the Currency Issue and Numismatics Centre of the Financial Markets Department of the Central Bank of Armenia, and Anzhela Gevorgyan, specialist of the same centre.

The speakers will present the 30-year journey of the national currency of the Republic of Armenia – the dram – into circulation, as well as the significance of the Armenian dram as one of the symbols of independent statehood in the life of society.

They will talk about the latest technologies in the field of security printing and the security properties of the RA 3rd series banknotes. The education-oriented mobile application ARMENIAN DRAM 3.0 for smartphones running iOS and Android operating systems will also be presented.
