In the center of the composition is a conical Tree of Life, from the base of which, a pair of large stylized palm branches emerge. To the right and left of them are two highly stylized large doves. The birds’ tails end in bird heads, which hold half-palmettes in their beaks.
Separate elements of the composition are found in early medieval Armenian, Byzantine, Sasanian and early Islamic art.
