On July 2, at 15:00, we invite you to the History Museum of Armenia to attend the lecture and open class “Dance and Identity”, during which you will get to know Karin dances and dance songs; and you will also discover how the identity of the Armenian of Karin was expressed in his dances and dance songs.

During the event, there will be a presentation of a small book summarising the study of the Karin region of the Bardzr Hayk (Upper Armenia) and the publication of the Kaqavagir (dance recording) of Karin dances, which were recorded in the record of movements using the system created by Srbuhi Lisitsyan in the 1940s.
