Davit Henrik Ananyan (November 17, 1979 – November 9, 2020, Karmir Shuka)
He graduated from the police academy at the age of 23 and became the youngest head of criminal investigation in Artsakh. During the 40th anniversary ceremony of the “Armenian Black Belt Union” held in Shushi, he received a medal from Karo Kebabjian. Despite the difficult conditions of the war, Davit Ananyan was known for his positive energy and sense of humor. Unfortunately, his life was cut short on November 9, the last day of the war when he was killed by a bomb explosion just 10 minutes before the ceasefire was signed. His platoon commander, Paruyr Martirosyan, recalls Davit’s bravery and posthumously awarded him the “Courage” medal.
