Davit Vladimir Arzumanyan. Mayor, commander (January 21, 1986, Yerevan – September 30, 2020, Karvaghar, Omar pass).
In 1992 – 2002 he studied at the secondary school # 123 after P. Sevak. In 2002 he admitted the Military academy after V. Sargsyan of Defence Ministry of RA. In 2006 he graduated the academy with a bachelor’s degree in engineering having lietennant ranke. In 2006-2010 he worked in Military academy after V. Sargsyan as a commander of platoon. In 2010 he started to serve in Peacekeeping Brigade of Defence Ministry of RA as a commander of battalion. In 2012 he traveled to the Republic of Kosovo on a peacekeeping mission. In 2014 he traveled to Afghanistan on a same purpose and by returning from there he received a mayor ranke. In 2016 he participated in April 4-day war, and his location was Talish with it’s very severe battles. In 2020 traveled to Afghanistan again, at this time – on 8 months peacekeeping mission. On September 27, 2020 he moved to Artsakh Perublic with his peacekeeping brigade and was dislocated with troops in Karvaghar, Omar pass. He died on September 30 as a brave soldier, and was born in Yerablur.
They called mayor Arzumanyan “Eagle of Omar”. He was awarded with a Jubilee Medal “20 Years of Armed Forces of RA” (2011), medal “Admiral H. S. Isakov” (2013), first degree medal “For Perfect Service” (2014թ) medal “Vazgen Sargsyan” (2017), in 2019 received from Ministry od Defence a deed – for high rates in the first decade battleship preparation and in military discipline. He returned from Afghanistan in 2020 with numerous deeds. During his peacekeeping mission he has also awarded a lot of medals and deeds, in general he had 22 military serving deeds. He was awarded by “For military service” medal (2020թ), as well as first degree medal “For services to Homeland” (2023թ) postmortem.
