Davit Andranik Davtyan (April 29, 2002, t. Abovyan –  October 7, 2020, Jabrayil).

In 2006 – 2007 he attended Abovyan chess school, and awarded a prize. He studied in Abovyan secondary school # 10, and then continued his education in Abovyan musical school, in class of violin. Davit had a good ear for music, so his performance won a second prize in a musical contest. In 2012 Davit with his family moved to Yerevan. He entered specialized musical school after P. Tchaikovsky, then – Yerevan secondary school # 104, and graduated the high school # 170. During that years he became a member of young yerkrapahs organization and actively participated in meetings and events. In 2020 he entered the department of tourism and service of geographical faculty of Yerevan State University. On July 2020 he was enlisted to armend forces of RA, on compulsory deadline service, in the Vayq military unit. On September 27, caused by beginning of war with Azerbayjan he moved from his training battalion to Jabrayil, and since October 5 he participated in combat operations.  After three days of severe battles against the enemy, he died on October 7. Four months later, on February 11, 2021 he was burried in Yerablur. For his bravery in Artsakh war, he was awarded with certificate of honour from the Ministry of Defence of RA, on March 12, 2021. In 2021 he was awarded the medal of “Martial Service” postmortal. Corners of honour are opened in Yerevan secondary schools ## 104 and 170, and on April 29, 2021 – on Davit’s birthday, a fountain is opened on Tsarav Aghbyur street and a spruce is planted after his name, signinig his eternal heroism. “Davit was the Armenian type of the Little Prince, who arranged his own planet every day”….  His unfulfilled dream was to finish studying in university to get his preferred speciality and to make Armenia recognizable in the world. He was upset: Armenia didn’t have its’ place in the book “The wonders of the world: The most 100 landmarks in the world”. He said, that he must correct this mistake.
