Davit Komitas Grigoryan. Lietennant, commander of platoon (September 15, 1997, vil. Jrvezh – November 3, 2020, Martuni -2).
He studied at the Jrvezh secondary school in 2004 – 2014 and graduated it with excellency. In 2014-2019 he studied in Art department of Yerevan State University and graduated it with excellency. In 2019 – 2020 he attended in commander’s trainings, organized by Military academy after V. Sargsyan, graduated it with excellency and received a rank of lietennant. On August 22, 2020 he began his 2-year military service in Artsakh Republic “Martuni-2” military unit, as a commander of a battery settling platoon. Since September 27, 2020 he bravely faught in hot points of war against the enemy, providing the accurate targeting of their army forces artillery. He managed to destroy a tremendous amount of enemy’s technical equipment and live force. Being in surrounding, he kept the enemy under fire and due to it saved many of his mortal friends lifes, as well as -saved the town of Martuni from being destroyed. He died on November 3, 2020, from a fragment of a bomb released by the enemy’s tank. He was awarded “Martial Service” medal, as well as – 2-nd degree medal of “Martial Cross” postmortem.
