Davit Arman Yakovlev

Davit Arman Yakovlev, junior sergeant (June 18, 2001, Yerevan – October 26, 2020, Martuni-2).

In 2007 he entered the “Usum” secondary school. When Davit was 13-14 years old, he was a leader of one of the winner teams in TUMO creative center. Before graduating the school, he studied in trainings of Microsoft, 2-nd level C# and “Programming of oriented object” being the only one teenager. He studied Scratch and Turtle programming languages in “Incigate” center. He was perfect in programming of HTML, CSS C#, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, he won the first prize in the competition of site creating API. Parallel to the study, he worked in Web programming field and conducted orders for implementing sites. He graduated phisics-mathematical biaz school after Art. Shahinyan and enrolled in faculty of informatics and applicable mathematics of Yerevan State University: He enlisted in army in 2019. He served 6 months in Lusakert training military unit, passed all examns with excellency and received 3-rd range of artilleryman. He continued his service in Artsakh Ivanyan tank military unit. When the war began in September 27, 2020, he literately managed his military operations. He was one of the firsts, who participated in contr-attack battles in the directions of Martuni, Hadrut, Shekher. He succesfully destroyed enemy’s two tanks, military transporting technics, causing the enemy significant losses of live force. He had excellent skills of managing his mortal team and due to it he caused enemy tremendous amount of losses, then he reorganized his platoon and accumulated all the military equipment, that he had in that moment and went to attack against enemy. In result, he provided for his friends to get out from surrounding.  During the military operation near the village Shekher he sacrified the most expensive thing – his life. Davit was awarded the medals “Martial service” and “For Bravery” by the President of Artsakh Republic.

When Davit was only 3 years old, his grandfather said “Look, how beautiful are the mountains”, and he answered: “I printed them im my eyes”. He printed Artsakh in his eyes too. He dreamed of having a harmonious family like his family.
