Eduard Arman Chichyan. Junior sergeant, commander (June 22, 2001, Yerevan – October 9 – 10, 2020, Jabrayil).
In 2006 Eduard enrolled in Yerevan college after Anania Shirakatsi and studied there up to 2014. Eduard liked to dream, and he planned to become a successful businessman. He believed, his dream will be fulfilled. That’s why he selected the speciality of management, and went to study in high school “Usmunq” – adjacent to the Armenian-Russian University and obtained his future speciality here. He liked sports, and often attended gym for trainings. In 2017 Eduard participated in English language improvement seminars in the frame of “Education in Prague” program, at first – in Prague, then – in Abu-Dabi, and received certificates. After graduating the school, he enrolled in Armenian-Russian University and studied in faculty of Management. Soon he was enlisted army. The first six months he served Lusakert training military unit of Ministry of Defence of RA, where he obtained skills to operate the BM-21 tipe “Grad” reactive system. After finishing his serving in training military unit, Eduard continued his service in Kapan militari unit of Ministry of Defence of RA. On September 27, 2020 Eduard was located in south regions of Artsakh – in Mekhakavan (Jabrayil), where he participated in subsequent military training. At night on October 9-10, 2020, on the 14-th day of war Eduard was commiting his night duty with some of his mortal friends, providing the rest of other soldiers, in their hiding places. The drone attack on early morning at 4:00-5:00 o’clock became fatal for Eduard… He said to his mother: “I have to tell you a lot of things, I’l return back, and tell you everything…”
