On September 5, a lecture entitled “Jraberd-Artsvagorg”: through the millennia” took place at the Museum. Carpet expert, candidate of historical sciences Lilia Avanesyan presented one of the best samples of Artsvagorg carpets, an integral part of the Armenian cultural identity. This magic relic that has come down to us from the 16th -17th centuries bears the unique secrets of our world perception, the modern interpretations of which turn into a dialogue between the past and the present. At the end of the lecture various carpet- weaving tools were shown and explained to the public.
