On September 8, the official opening ceremony of the exhibition hall “In the Footsteps of Early Man: The Stone Age” took place in the History Museum of Armenia, which announced the start of the opening of the permanent exhibition. At the press conference, Davit Poghosyan, director of the museum, spoke about the opening exhibition and emphasized its importance. Alfred Kocharyan, deputy minister of the ESCS, Tork Dalalyan, deputy director of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the RA NAS, and Boris Gasparyan, director of the “Areni-1 Cave” research fuondation, in turn, presented the work done, the excavation process, the process of preservation of exhibits and other details. Then the opening of the exhibition took place, which was attended by a number of specialists in the field, cultural figures, as well as patrons and partners of the museum.
