On February 3, at 4:00 p.m., a lecture-tour “Fragments of Identity: Carpet” will be held at the History Museum of Armenia, which will be conducted by Lilia Avanesyan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, researcher of the Ethnography Department of the museum. The course of the origin and development of carpet weaving will be presented during the lecture, and the meaning of the carpet motifs will be discussed. In the second part of the meeting, Lilia Avanesyan will lead a tour of the temporary exhibition “Fragments of Identity: Carpet” for the participants.
