Gevorg Stepan Baghdishyan, Scout, Junior Sergeant (September 2, 2000, Yerevan – October 7, 2020, Jrakan).
In addition to his academic pursuits, Gevorg was an active participant in the FSC dance studio and engaged in boxing. Notably, he achieved first place in the 46 kg weight category during the 1999-2000 Youth Open Championship of the “Armenia” All-Union Board of Referees’ Yerevan Boxing Sports School in 2016. Drafted into the army in 2019, Gevorg served in Agarak, Meghri. He played an active role in several subversive operations, serving as the squad commander. On October 23, he successfully neutralized an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle, heroically losing his life in Jrakan. In recognition of his valor, he received a letter of gratitude from the command.
