Gor Haykasar Hakobyan

( 21.03.1992 – 08.11.2020 )

Gor Haykasar Hakobyan (March 21, 1992, vil. Ziliga, Lori region – November 8, 2020, Zangelan).

He graduated the secondary school after M. Muradyan with excellency and continued his education in the department of art and design of Vanadzor state pedagogical university, which he also graduated with excellency. He went to Artsakh Republic, to serve in Armenian army as a volunteer. He was strengthened in a rank of senior, bringing home a number of certificated of appreciation and diplomas. He liked to paint, recitate, he was leading by Njdeh’s ideas. In 2014 he began his service in frontier troops of National Savety Service (NSS) of RA. In 2020 he awarded a “For Excellent Service” medal.  He participated in Artsakh April 4-day war (in 2016) as a volunteer. Without informing his family, he went to participate in Artsakh Second war. He put the motherland ahead of everything. At first he faught in Zangelan. During the battle, he tried to save his mortal friend, but they both were killed by drone attack. He dreamed to change the world, to make it more colorful. His slogan was: “My life to my motherland, my soul to God, my honour to me”…
