Harutyun Davit Tilikyan, machine gunner (April 18, 1998, Ararat region, Marmarashen city – October 2, 2020, Hadrut region)

He was originally from Musaler. In 2003, he attended a secondary school named after Andranik Barutyan, where he played chess and participated in inter-school competitions. From 2004 to 2011, he studied the violin section at the Arno Babajanyan Music School. In 2014, he played in the music group “History” for six years as the 2nd violinist, and was featured in various videos and concerts. The same year, he was admitted to the Faculty of Military Medicine at Yerevan State Medical University, named after Mkhitar Heratsi. During his student years, he was actively involved in sports, particularly football and boxing.

In July 2020, he was conscripted for compulsory military service in the military unit of Jrakan and served as a private soldier. He participated in the 2nd Artsakh War, where he fought as a machine gunner and medic. Sadly, he died on October 2, 2020, on the battlefield from the explosion of a shell. He dreamed of becoming a doctor and having his own business.
