On May 5, at 16:30, the History Museum of Armenia will host a lecture on the topic “Honoured People of Armenian Ethnography: Ruben Parsumyan,” which will be conducted by Hrazdan Tokmajyan, painter, landscape painter.
The speaker will present a huge collection of Armenian craft materials, the archival materials of Ruben Parsamyan, who lived in Aleppo, Syria, came from a family of foundry moulders and was widely known in the foundry trade. The main part of the materials refers to the Armenians who settled in Syria after the Genocide.
During the lecture, a documentary film will be shown, in which some samples from Parsumyan’s collection will be presented with his interpretation.
