Hovhannes Marzpet Hovhannisyan, driver (2001, Aragatsotn region, Bazmaghbyur city – October 28, 2020, Martuni city, Karmir Shuka).

He was actively involved in sports from a young age and was a member of the Youth Foundation of Armenia. Additionally, he participated in a start-up in Ashtarak. After completing his schooling in 2019, he was drafted into the army in July and served in Jabra’il.

Throughout his service, he demonstrated remarkable courage and resilience. Despite being wounded three times, he remained on the battlefield, exemplifying extraordinary commitment. One notable instance involved driving a car while injured in the leg to bring the commander to the front line. He also displayed selflessness by sending his wounded friend kilometers away to ensure their safety in a more secure location. He lost his life on October 28 due to a drone strike near Karmir Shuka. He even brought his math books and databases to the army, aspiring to become a programmer.
