From May 20, at 19:00, you will have the opportunity to see the exhibition hall of the permanent exhibition “Iron Age” at the History Museum of Armenia.
As part of the exhibition, valuable samples dating back to the 12th-9th centuries BC will be presented: carved ritual vessels, adornments, weapons and other objects found in Dvin, Artik, Lori Berd, Karashamb, Metsamor and other monuments. Iron weapons, jewellery, casting tools, which are considered to be ancient samples of early ironwork, will also be presented. They document that the Armenian Highland and Asia Minor, due to the rich iron deposits, were the centres of discovery and processing of this metal.
