Karen David Nersesyan (January 6, 2002, Armavir, Aghavnatun village – December 27, 2020, Hadrut)
From 2008 – 2020, he attended a secondary school in the village and studied with high grades. In 2020, he was admitted to the Faculty of History of Yerevan State University and then was drafted into the Armenian army. He served in Jrakan. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave for the army a day earlier, to serve the motherland, to fulfill his duty to the motherland and the people. He was in Hadrut during the September war. After the cease-fire on November 9, he fell into a siege with his 6 comrades-in-arms and died on December 27. The body of the deceased was passed on to the family on January 6, Karen’s birthday. He was awarded the “Combat Service” and “For the Defense of the Motherland” medals.
