Karen Hamlet Sargsyan. Subofficer (July 6, 1975, vil. Aragats, Aragatsotn region – September, 2022, Jermuk).
In 1982 – 1992 he studied in Aragatsotn secondary school # 1. In 1993 he was enlisted and served in Internal Forced training center. In 1994 he participated in Artsakh war, and then he went to serve in OMON. After being strengthened, he continued his service as a contracting soldier in the Karvachar military unit. In 1997 he studied in Shirak economy and management university․ In 2016 he participated in April 4-dat war. In 2020 he struggles for Qarvachar with his operative group # 105, which was a real fear for Turkish troops. On September 2022, during the days of Azerbayjan next aggression against Armenia, Karen was struggling against the enemy, which largely exceeded Armenian troops. But when he left alone, not to give up on the enemy, he immediately pulls a hand grenade and blows himself up and kills dozens of Azeri soldiers. The subofficer was awarded numerous medals, prizes, as well as – medal “For Mortal Service”. He was married, he had two sons.
