Khachatur Vrej Aghajanyan. Senior sergeant (June 29, 1997, vil. Hovtashat – November 7, 2020, Shushi).
In 2004 – 2012 he studied in Yerevan secondary school # 174, then he continued his studying in the department of accountancy of Yerevan European college. In 2008-2012 he Practiced Greco-Roman wrestling and obtained many awards, and he also engaged in battles without rules. In summer 2015 h enlisted army, and passed 6-months’ training military service in Lusakert military unit, as a sharp-shooting operator of artilliery, then he continued his service in Artsakh, in Jabrayil (Mekhakavan), as a junior sergeant. He participated in April 4-day war in 2016, was wounded in legs, returned from there in a rank of senior sergeant. In 2018 we was enrolled in Police forces – OMON , then he together with the police forces participated in border shifting near the village Chinar, in Tavush region. In May 2019 he won the championship of Armenia in battles without rules competition. He participated in Tavush July 2020 battles. When the Second Artsaakh war began, on September 27 he moved to Qelbajar (Qarvachar) with police forces. 27 days he was in battles, then he came home on one week, and then – on November 2 voluntarely moved to Artsakh, to participate in Shushi selfdefence battles. After 5-days’ severe battles, on November 7 his battalion was surrounded, Khachatur was hardly wounded, not paying attention on his condition he continued to fight, but some times later died as a hero….
He awarded numerous medals, such as “For bravery”, “Fidayapet Andranik”, “Aryuts Fidayi”, 1-st degree of “Martial cross” and “For serving the homeland” postmortal.
