Marat Karen Manukyan. Senior intelligence officer (September 13, 2001, Yerevan – October 12, 2020, Jrakan).
He attended “Erudit” college since 5 years. He studied in Yerevan secondary school # 35 after Gogol, then continued his study as a chef. He was engaged in swimming, dancing, playing on musical instruments, painting since childhood. He had a car collection, he was very curious. On January 9 2020 he enlisted army. He served in military unit of village Khndzoresk. After 2 months, by the order of the commander of battalion, he continued the service as a Senior intelligence officer. He was very smart and had sports posture (he decided just after serving the army to return back and to enter the Physical Training and Sports State University, he loved sports very much, he was engaged in bodybuilding), which in its’ turn contributed to become an intelligence officer. Since the days of war, Marat participated in hot battles near Hadrut and Jabrayil. He has been in surrounding with his combats three times and each time due to hard struggles they came out from surrounding. He died heroically on October 12, in Jabrayil, during the next military investigation operation, being wounded of the bomb fragment. At that moment he was helping the commanding staff of the unit. Marat had a lot of dreams. He dreamed to have a car, to participate in autodrive competition. He dreamed to graduate the university and to become a coach. He dreamed to have his own business. He dreamed to travel… Al of these dreams were unfulfilled… He awarded medal “For Martial Service” postmortal.
