Mher Ashot Hovakimyan (February 9, 2000. Kotayk region. Hrazdan city – September 28. 2020. Martakert)
He studied at High School No. 10 in Hrazdan and concurrently attended the art school named after E. Kochar in Hrazdan, specializing in the department of painting from 2011 to 2015. In 2016, Mher gained admission to the Manuk Abeghyan High School affiliated with Yerevan University of Architecture, and in 2019, he continued his education at Yerevan Engineering University. On July 17 of the same year, Mher was drafted into the Armenian army and served in Lusakert. Demonstrating excellence as a master of weapons, he attained the rank of junior sergeant. Six months later, he was transferred to Artsakh, specifically to the Martakert defense region, where he served as an artilleryman. His dedication was recognized with commendation certificates and the “Courage” medal. He had many plans and created new ones daily. He promised to come and live, but unfortunately, on September 28th, 2020, Mher’s plans became memories for his loved ones.
