Intelligent, kind, friendly, empathetic, with a sense of humor … Ruben was one of the descendants of astronomer Victor Hambardzumyan, and he was proud of this family connection. He dreamed of becoming a renowned programmer and making a new invention in this field. After serving in the army, Ruben and his friend decided to go to Japan, he was interested in anime….. alas. During calculations, commanders always turned to Ruben to check and clarify calculations; calculations were made with 100 percent accuracy. They were in charge of 12 positions. His friend Vazgen, whose life Ruben saved, said about his commander: “I am proud of Ruben”. He died as a result of an aerial bomb explosion. Ruben was presented with the “Brave Warrior” badge.
