Samvel Sahak Gasparyan, senior sergeant, volunteer (December 13, 1994, Gegharkunik Marz, Vaghashen – October 2, 2020, Omar)
He participated in various Olympiads, events, and competitions during his studies. After graduating from school, he got into the Faculty of History at the Armenian State University. After studying for a year and a half, he joined the Jabrayil military unit of the NKR. Due to his exceptional performance, he was promoted to the rank of senior sergeant. After his military service, he resumed his studies at the Faculty of General Medicine of Heratsi Medical University, to become a doctor for the soldiers. Samvel, who was a 3rd-year student at the medical university, volunteered to go to the front on the first day of the war. He fought in both directions, both as a soldier and a doctor. On October 2, 2020, the future doctor was killed by a UAV.
