Sipan Vardan Meloyan, liaison officer (January 16, 1990 – November 9, 2020, Mataghis)
After graduating from Metsamor School, he was drafted into the army of Artsakh. He served as a sapper in Martuni 3. He got married in 2012, worked for a year in the Ministry of Defense as a contract worker, and had two children. On October 24, 2020, he moved to Artsakh to participate in combat operations. He fought in Mataghis and tragically lost his life two hours before the cease-fire on November 9 due to a grenade explosion. All his hopes and dreams for the future of his children were left unfulfilled…
