Tigran Garnik Galstyan. Sergeant, commander of a grenade launcher crew (February 25, 2000, vil. Aragats, Aragatsotn region– October 31, 2020, Martuni-2).
In 2006 he attended Aragats secondary school # 1 after D. Demirchyan. In 2007 his family moved Russian Federation and lived in the city Yekaterinburg, then – in town Igrim. When Tigran was 9 years old, he attended football trainings, he loved football very much and had essential achievements, medals, diplomas. His dreams concerned the achievements in sports games. Parallel he attended amateur hockey, swimming, boxing, volleyball. In 2015-2018 he lived in Nijni Novgorod, where he graduated the secondary school. In 2018 he voluntarily returned Armenia and in 2019 enlisted army. He served in Martuni-2, military unit, as a commander of a grenade launcher crew. He received a rank of sergeant. During the service he was writing lirics. He was the captain of volleyball team of the battalion. With his seven mortal comrades he built a chapel in the positions – St. Sargis. During the service, he awarded “The best sportsman soldier” and “Brave soldier” medals. During the war he was in Martuni defending positions. The loss of each friend took very hard emotions from him. When his relative asked him to run away if possible, he answered: “I can’t leave my positions, I lost a lot of sweet brothers here”. On October 25 he baptized with his seven combat friends. During the war, due to correct calculations, he destroyed 3 armoured vehicle (tanks). He gave a name even to his weapon – “Viktoria”. After a next artilliery bombing, when their detachment was resting in their hiding, in a moment they saw no Tigran, after some minutes they saw, that he wrote blasphemies against the enemy on the landmines. On October 30 he destroyed entire enemy’s sabotage group, which had entered the Martuni-2 military unit positions. On October 31, during one of hottest battles, he was wounded from the bomb fragment and became immortal in his friend’s arms.
