Tigran Tonakan Shahbaryan. Junior sergeant (June 11, 2001, vil. Chartar of Artsakh Martuni region – October 11, 2020, Hadrut).

When he was 1 year, he moved to Yerevan with his family.  He studied in Avan secondary school # 104, then – Yerevan state basic college, by speciality of dentist. He graduated college with excellency. He attended various classes, sports games. He was very friendly, honest, smart. Parallel to study, Tigran attended TUMO center. In 2016 he wrote his plans on future, and it includes – to read many books in business and psychology themes, to study French language and to travel to France – he dreamed to be in France.  He wrote acrostics devoted to homeland, he had perfect skills in English, Russian languages.  Tigran’s dreams were so much and so multiple, but he decided to realise them only after military service. He desired to become а physician.  In July 2019 he was enlisted. For him it was important to serve in Artsakh. He served in Martuni-3 military unit, after 3 months he received a junior sergeant title and continued his service as a battalion doctor. He served peacefully, without any problems before the beginning of the war.  He has always been praised, he liked to read a lot of books. On the first day of war, Tigran’s battalion, not being of special importance, participated in sabotage operations, and without looses captured important positions. He awarded 1-st degree “Martial Cross” medal. On October 10, they received a special military task and moved to Hadruth, which was already under enemy control. On the way they meet a large number of enemy’s troops, and so they understood, that they have two options: either be captived or to fight up the end. Tigran’s body was found after two months. He awarded “For Bravery” medal postmortal.
