Vardan Norik Mnatsakanyan (October 4, 1991, Aragatsotn region, Karmrashen, – November 7, 2020, Shushi).
Upon completing his education, he enrolled in the Department of Road Transport and Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute in the year 2012. Beginning in December, he dedicated his efforts to the RA Police Forces, receiving certificates of honor for his service. On November 6, 2019, a daughter was born, bringing with her many dreams that unfortunately remained unfulfilled. In the year 2020, on November 2, he bravely headed to the front lines. During the defense of Shushi on November 7, he sustained multiple injuries and tragically lost his life to a sniper shot on the outskirts of Shushi. In recognition of his valor and commitment, he was posthumously awarded the “Combat Support” medal.
