A lecture on the topic “Semantic Commonalities of Some Ornamental Designs in Armenian Carpets and Costumes” will be held in the Government Building No. 2 (former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), on August 27, at 18:30.

Research worker of the Ethnographic Department at the History Museum of Armenia and Candidate of Historical Sciences  Lilia Avanesyan will make a report and present the semantic commonalities of some ornamental designs in Armenian carpets and costumes, conditioned by the earliest notions and perceptions underlying the national culture.
