Karen Razmik Gevorgyan (May 28, 1998, Armavir province, Khanjian village – November 7, 2020, Shushi).

Karen attended the local secondary school. After graduating from school, he continued his studies at Armavir College. After 3 years of free study, he transferred to the Armenian State University of Economics. In 2016, Karen was drafted into the Armenian army. He received the rank of junior sergeant. After the military service, along with his studies, he was employed in the Police Troops. From September 28, 2020, he participated in the Second Artsakh War with his brother, who also worked in the police. After a month of fighting in Karvachar, he was transferred to the fortress city of Shushi, where he fought against the enemy’s thugs until his last breath. The brothers were immortalized on November 7 during the heavy battles fought in Shushi. On November 17, as a result of search operations, the bodies were found in Shushi’s entrances. He was awarded the “For Courage” medal, and the “Combat Cross” medal of the RA “First Corps” NGO.

He dreamed of returning and starting a family.
