The History Museum of Armenia hosted a lecture on the topic “Dance and Identity” and open class, during which the attendees got acquainted with Karin dances and dance songs, discovering how the identity of the Armenian of Karin was expressed in his dances and dance songs. During the event, there was a presentation of a book summarising the study of the Karin region of the Bardzr Hayk (Upper Armenia) and the publicisation of the Kaqavagir (dance recording) of Karin dances, which were recorded in the record of movements using the system created by Srbuhi Lisitsyan in the 1940s.
