“WE DID WHAT WE COULD. WE GAVE OUR BEST TO OUR DEAR PEOPLE…”
The History Museum of Armenia, in collaboration with the Y. Charents Museum of Literature and Art, has opened a temporary exhibition “Documenting the Eternal: Aram, Ara, Artashes Vruyrs”.
In the opening speech, Davit Poghosyan, Director of the History Museum of Armenia, emphasised the organisation of the exhibition, drawing parallels with our reality in terms of content. Vahagn Sargsyan, Director of the Y. Charents Museum of Literature and Art, noted that the Vruyrs preserved the endangered historical and cultural heritage of the Armenian people through photography and thereby managed to preserve the idea of a spiritual homeland. Marine Haroyan and Naira Shahvaladyan, the curators of the exhibition, also gave speeches.
You can see archival photographs, memorabilia, relics rescued from Ani, and important and unique documentary examples by visiting the History Museum of Armenia.
The exhibition runs until the end of the year.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the History Museum of Armenia.
