Levon Khachik Asoyan (December 27, 2000, Noyakert, Ararat region – October 11, 2020, Hadrut).

His family relocated to St. Petersburg when he was in the 6th grade. Upon reaching adulthood, Levon decided to return to his homeland and serve in the Armenian Armed Forces. Despite his parents’ concerns, he firmly stated, “If I can’t achieve something in my life, then you will be the one to blame.” In 2019, Levon served in Askeran, displaying a cheerful and joking demeanor. He had a passion for cooking and took care of those around him. Family was of utmost importance to him, and nothing brought him more joy than seeing his family members smile. Unfortunately, on October 11, when 200 soldiers, including Levon, were taken to Hadrut, it proved to be a fateful day for him. Levon lost his life due to anti-aircraft fire, and his last words were a plea for help. His unfulfilled desire was to open a pastry shop and continue in that profession.
